8:18 pm - Yeh kaunsa maud hai…
many things are changing including my house mates: I wonder why do I miss people even when I never talked much with them but ‘aisi hi hoon main’; my room: doesn’t matter much; my work; the way I work; the way I spend my leisure time; umm…and even my priorities

well suddenly I recalled Mr. Narayan Shankar’s “Mujhe parivartan pasand nahi” (Mohabbatein)…hehe!…enjoin the transition...hope it's for better ;)

Cheers,
Minu

2:28 am - what am i upto!
this is first time when i feel i m doing 'something' for the heck of doing it and hence not giving my 100%...hmmm letzee what's the remedy...i know i wud come out soon with one :-)

nyways listened Vande Matram (Both original and Rahman's one)today after very long...:-) :-)

well u c how great i am...i m supposed to submit my Whitepaper on 4G in exactly 2 weeks from now and guess what... i have just realized that i m less than 1% through (and 75% of the time is already gone)...so what i need to tell myself is...

minu sweetheart, prior to things go out of hands... wake up and do whatever it takes because commitment tuo phir commitment hai

well u c i hav this very good habbit of fulfilling the commitments i make but alongwith this i hav this extremely bad habbit of making commitments...

nyways my playlist now playing this lucky Ali song 'na tum jano na hum'...lovely song...me off to music/sleep ;o)...

1:31 am - gouri teri aankhen kahen ke raat bhar soyi nahi!
well i don't know why but i derive unparalled happiness when I compromise on my sleep for any kind of important as well as weird things I do. The case in point is after yesteday's complete night out in Jaipur, I had a busy day at work with a client deliverable lined up in evening.

Now after all this the first thing i shud do is to sleep but ab mann hi nahi kar raha...I think I need to come out of this show-off to myself (as there is none else here to show-off to :-))

n before my eyes curse me more, i shall go off to sleep...

sweet dreams!
Ciao

10:53 pm - my sweet young little brother
well today was again a remarkable day...

not just because i slept at 3:00 after watching germany bagging the 3rd position in FIFA and was 'made' to get up at 6:00

not just because weather was simply awesome...(it was midnight dark during afternoon and after that vaccum, it rained 'heavily' for hours...just lovely!)

but the day was remarkabke because Robin, my brother got placed in 'Satyam'.

Well getting placed is not that a big deal but for our little 'Prince' it is a bit different.

An electronics engg. in his 3rd year of graduation facing first ever interview process, reaches venue driving his 'Accent' and carrying all the 'not required' attitude, but perhaps a genius is hard not to be recognized and finally 'he' got what 'I' wished for him :-).

I m :-)HAPPY :-) but one thing i feel is, its easy for me to take decision for myself as it would be I who wud be bearing the consequences and thrfore i have taken 'weirdest' of them and have also stood by them :-). but to mentor anyone else requires 'helluva' responsibility and caution...and and and its really easy to make your own CV compared to doing it for anyone else. It was equal to taking Him to 'regression'...hehe!

FYI, again i m indifferent to whatever team wins FIFA but i wud defn watch the Finals, given i need to wake up at 5:00 in the morning :-)...see this is igjactly the stuff i like doing!...just unresonable :-)

So whats ur take on weirdness today:-)

Minu

p.s. Sache dil se kuch bhi mango, tuo woh mil jata hai!

6:58 pm - Gifts are precious!
well as usual, on this birthday, I did receive plethora of gifts :-)...from clothes to footwear...from watch to mobile...from books to stationery...etc.etc.

I think people who know me are well aware that I would never take the pain to go and buy something :-)…am not lazy at all to visit any place, go out fooding, partying, watching movies but neither hav interest nor patience to stop and shop (my evergreen excuse! :-)

well this time I received one very sweet gift from one of the sweetest person I know...guess what???

well I know none would...anyways it was a pen signed by Rahul Dravid. great thought...now I feel except shirts/watches/books atleast I have never gifted anything else to anyone (and these too delegated purchases :p)...

Moral of the story: be innovative in not only in finding the occasions you present gifts but also in what u actually gift...

it does matter...vatsay???

Cheers,

11:26 pm - Saturday was great!
July just had a great begining :-)

Starting morning the conference went well. Client was more or less impressed. I have done my bit and results would be out in another 10-15 days. till thn wait and watch!

Thn went to the office...wrapped up whole of the work in 4-5 hours i.e from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM followed by an eary dinner...guess why all this...because i planned to watch all the matches...;0) so here is how it went...

Portugal/England liked the match and ofcourse penalities part the most...though i dont know much about the game but the commentator said England has never won the penalities game and so was today...but today i could apparetly see lesser adept goal keeper along with many other numerous reasons which would be at play that time.

Thn comes the heroic action of our gud own Bhajji, the only Mr. not out. 5 wickets aahaa!. nd how not to mention Mr. dependable hitting his 21st 4 on the 2nd day of the math...lovely simply wonderful!

well back to football..Brazil/France the whole match was class apart as compared to what I watched 4-5 hours back. great match. Though i was alone but i ws virtually watching it with one of my friends, who wanted nothing else but Brazil out of the tournament. His zeal was adding to my (nominal!)interest in the game. n finally a goal comes... but i must say that match was just awesome..it's one of the games which requires a lot on stamina as well as technique. Lets see who wins...

sleeping time ciao!

11:08 pm - What a fulfilling Sunday!

:-) none of these well it was sounddd sleep of some 4 hours (ofcourse during day time)...lemme give you a feel of how sound it was

my mobile rings at around 7:00 and though it takes me some nano seconds but it takes me that much of the time to realize that its evening 7:00 or mornning 7:00...aahaan! so fulfilling

btw u know sound sleep is good for health and thn it makes you 'jagte raho' at night and write these stupid posts ..hehe

chalo now i would watch a little of cricket with some Soccer and adding to it a little taste of IIFA...what's your recipe for a good night???

4:17 am - Yeh lamhe yeh pal hum barso yaad karenge...
Nostalgia! Small word but big enough to make one ponder

btw why does anyone gets nostalgic..Is it because the past was much more beautiful or because the Present has been unfulfilling or its just the human tendency to be senti about things ;o)

one more thing if nostaligia menas longing for past and missing something then it has to be something which was a part of the past and is no longer a part of the present….is it so???

well I miss

Sunday mornings back at home when Papa used to talk at length about various things and mummy always use to keep saying ‘uth jao, thoda room theek kardo, 9:00 baj rahe hai, chutti ka din hai koi bhi aa sakta hai..hehe!’, but with little luck to move us hopeless cases

Bhaiya not only teaching me mathematics but at the same time making me realize that any score less than 100 is ‘not good’…his ‘three digit’ funda i.e. scoring 100 made my rank meritorious through out (u c now the topper speaks: well just an aside though I hated when i was called topper but somewhere inside I also felt happy )

N recent most of the all I ‘badly’ miss 2 years of my MBA which were so fulfilling in numerous aspects (even those aspects which I would never let myself share ;-). Lessee now:

o Nights long project assignments (who use to work during day…hehe!)
o Hours of basket ball and unparallled sound sleep
o Mid night cricket
o Unplanned trips (not to forget those numerous plans which always remained in planning phase)
o Friday night shows
o Strategy and MBFI (I still don’t know and would never know also that why he was after me and also Roshni)
o Prof. Ahindra Chakrobarty (Mr. Impeccable), Prof. Bhaumik (Mr. Brainy), Prof. Roy Chaudhary (Miss omnipresent (whether its campus or campus talks or ‘boys’ hostel)
o N how can one forget ‘Rumours’ that too a new creative one almost daily (I was the source of quite a few but then what about those against me…n to acknowledge here one of them, the most popular and pervasive one was true :-)
o And and DJ nights…perfect examples of energy levels moving from top up at 11:00 to bottom down at 6:00 A.M.
o Alumni dance performance (bollywood time to time)...sahee!
o Biking in Sanjay Vann
o Truth and Dare (risky game I must say)
o Holi and mud bath and bhang which thank thank thankfully didn't work :p
o 3 days at IMT. 24 hours of helluva games…simply memorable and ‘never’ to come again
o 3 days of self discovery…woh tents, woh rocks, woh nadi, woh khana, who bon fire, who anndhi toofan, aur jagira sa ra ra ra! Hehe
o Mess food, eating in a single plate, bets on ice creams
o Govardhan’s south Indian and cooking in hostel (off the record :-)
o Placement week, perfect example of planning, organizing and implementing, a true feel of caring by everyone for everyone
o And farewell :(

Nyways who so ever has read so far must be feeling that the list is long but the fact is this is just the trailer of the movie which is a classic blockbuster

Well it is so rejuvenating to relive this time which i did even while inking it out…nyways its 4 in the morning now n though its Saturday but phir bhi sona tuo banta hai

Ciao till …next time
Minu

Sweet poem...very sweet...:-)

Remembering my Class mates, after few years.
My eyes were filled with tears,
Everyone now is busy a lot,
No One escaped destiny's plot.

Project reviews to campus interviews,
Nicknames to last bench games,
Cultural rehearsaks to love proposals,
Shot tern crashes/crushes to class room blushes.

Everything is fresh in our mind,
Wish life could Just rewind,
Let's laugh, play and rejoice,
Once again become college guys.

Chatting and laughing, we all were elation(some tears and bleedy too),
Till the painfull moment of separation,
When it was time to part,
We returned with a heavy heart.

Today life is full of commitments,
And too many worries,
But those cherished moments,
Will live forever in our Memories.

5:26 am - Which one is more closely me!
Sometime I wonder how at a same given mood/context/thinking/reasoning one feels weak at a moment and strong the following moment.

What drives fear to originate and than what originates inside us only to allay those fears.

are they both me...if yes thn which one is more clsely me...if no then which one is me and who is the other one...

Why is it sometime u just want to surrender and leave everything not on action but inaction and thn too feel accomplished.

why it happens that your self-confidence drives you against making compromises and thn your 'always already listened' makes you feel that it cud perhaps be over-confidence... who distinguishes this thin line and how...

Is it because I am unnecessarily going deep into it or is it because of my longingness to always be right and there are few things where there is no right or wrong...

y do i now again feel that somewhere down the line i have answers to all these WHYs but still i want a more tangible answer

You Are a Red Flower

A red flower tends to represent power, seduction, and desire.
At times, you are loving like a red tulip.
And at other times, you're very enthusiastic, like a bouvardia.
And more than you wish, your passion is a bit overwhelming, like a red rose.

:p

You Should Weigh 165

If you weigh less than this, you either have a fast metabolism or are about to gain weight.
If you weigh more than this, you may be losing a few pounds soon!

lols... letsee!

Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino

Smooth and sweet, you fit in to almost any crowd. No one would suspect you of being a coffee tweaker!

Did u sucpect...

You Are a Frappacino

At your best, you are: fun loving, sweet, and modern

At your worst, you are: childish and over indulgent

You drink coffee when: you're craving something sweet

Your caffeine addiction level: low

it proves i m not addicted :D

6:17 pm - was I consoling the self
this first Test was indeed the best match, so far, in the WI tour (second innings to be more specific). However, Lara's tantrum on the 4th day costed us some 17 minutes which were more than sufficient to get that 10th winning wicket...vatsay??? and that Chris Gayle's wicket...but nyways...

that's what which makes the game more than just the..........game...vat else!

nyways watching Fanaa was helluva fun...ask y...not bcoz movie was awesome but bcoz Manu, my younger brother, was wid me...hehe!...
